After success completion of UID data collection till 2013-2014, Kerala State Headquarters hereby announces the launch of UID Online Application for Scouts/Guides who have enrolled as Pravesh this year (2014-2015) starting 10:00 AM today (16/12/2014). Unit Leaders can register for Scouts/Guides in their unit for UID using the CITES Portal attached to this website. The last date for filing applications online is restricted till 26th December, 2014. Run the following command in the terminal(Application - Accessories - terminal) type the password for the user when prompted.
wget -q
-O - https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | sudo apt-key add -
After
installing the key, run the below command to add it to the repository.
sudo sh
-c 'echo "deb http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/ stable main"
>> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list'
Thats it.
Now update your repository and install the browser.
To Update
sudo
apt-get update
To Install the Stable version
sudo
apt-get install google-chrome-stable
The above
command will install the current stable version.
To Install the Beta Version
sudo
apt-get install google-chrome-beta
The above
command will install the current beta version. You can also install the
unstable version by using the following command.
sudo
apt-get install google-chrome-unstable
